Day 1, 2, 3 — South Luangwa. 3 nights, Nkwali Camp. FI
You´ll be met at Lusaka International Airport and assisted onto a scheduled flight from the capital to Mfuwe. There´s an hour´s road transfer to Nkwali Camp, taking in the colourful local villages, and farms. The six room camp commands sweeping views of the Luangwa River. The area´s game is excellent — especially the endemic species of Thornicroft giraffe. Explore the bush by game drive and take a boat safari into the park.

Day 4 to 7 — South Luangwa. 4 nights, Tena Tena Camp. FI
A gentle greeting will wake you for the early morning game-drive transfer through the park. At a crossing point on the river, Tena Tena staff will meet you and take you over the water before another short game drive to camp. On a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River, in a grove of mahogany trees near the spectacular Buca Buca lagoon, discover Tena Tena’s unique tranquillity in the company of elephant and antelope – not crowds of people.
Described by The Times newspaper as ‘altogether beyond superlatives,’ this intimate and remote camp provides accommodation comprising six large custommade tents.
There are daily walks in the bush and morning and night game drives with bush picnics.
Let time stand still as you spend a morning in quiet contemplation of the procession of game drinking from the river, or spend a night in the local village and feel the warmth of African hospitality firsthand.

Day 8, 9 — Victoria Falls. 2 nights, Tongabezi Lodge. FI
After an early breakfast, you´ll transfer to Mfuwe Airport for a picturesque flight to Livingstone. On arrival you will be met by Tongabezi´s staff and transferred to the Lodge, set in a tranquil grove of African ebony trees on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River.

Days at Tongabezi have no set pattern and can be spent exactly as you wish.  Choose simply to relax at the lodge or make the most of the wealth of activities, both inclusive and exclusive, such as river boat trips, picnic lunches on islands in the river, visits to Livingstone and the Victoria Falls.

Day 10 — Departure
Breakfast at the Lodge with time for a morning activity. After farewells you´ll be transferred to Livingstone airport for scheduled flight to Johannesburg for homeward connections.
