Day 1, 2 (Thu) – Quito, 2 nights Swissotel. BB
You will be welcomed to Ecuador at Quito International Airport this morning and transferred to the elegant Swissotel.
Next morning, after breakfast drive north to the verdant slopes and lakes of the volcanic highlands, with your private guide and vehicle. Visit the famous Otavalo Indian market, which originated in the ancient past as a way to exchange goods. After your visit continue to Hacienda Pinsaqui for lunch, a restored colonial Hacienda situated at the base of Imbabura Volcano.  In the afternoon drive back to Quito for overnight.

Day 3, 4 – Cloud Forest, 2 nights Arashá Resort & Spa. FB
After breakfast, head northwest of Quito to the Middle of the World for a visit to the monument that divides the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Continue your journey to Arashá Resort & Spa to arrive in time for lunch. 
This fine resort is located in a rich Tropical Forest offering a diversity of activities including nature walks, bird watching tours and visits to the nearby waterfalls.  Workshops at the chocolate and artisans factories and spa treatments are also available.

Day 5 – Quito, 1 night Swissotel. BB
After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll meet your guide and depart to the Bellavista Reserve, deep in the heart of the cloud forest; this is a place for adventure, relaxation and deep contact with nature. Enjoy lunch while watching the colourful hummingbirds coming to drink from the feeders. Leave Bellavista in the afternoon and return to your hotel in Quito.

Day 6 – Central Andes, 1 night Hacienda La Alegria. FB
After breakfast, you’ll depart with your guide and private vehicle heading south to the ‘Avenue of the Volcanoes’ to reach the Cotopaxi National Park. Marvel at the snow-capped cone of the highest active volcano in the world. On your visit you can climb up to the refuge (climb from 4500 to 4800 meters) for a magnificent view of the area, or hike around Limpiopungo Lake. Drive to Hacienda La Alegria for a late lunch. Arrive to a warm welcome from your hosts and spend the afternoon at leisure.  Dinner is enjoyed as a family with a variety of Ecuadorian delicacies.

Day 7, 8 – Central Andes, 2 nights Hacienda La Alegria. FB
This beautiful Hacienda offers traditional hospitality and stunning surroundings; venture out on horseback, foot or bicycle to observe the spectacular Andean valleys and volcanoes.  La Alegria is a working ranch and guests are able to participate in the farm’s activities.

Day 9 – Quito, 1 night Swissotel. BB
After breakfast and farewells, continue along the ‘Avenue of the Volcanoes’ to the crater of the Quilotoa volcano stopping en route to visit an Indian market and the small villages of Pujili and Tigua famous for its ceramic, wooden masks and paintings which are made from animal skins. Admire the two mile wide water-filled caldera before taking a short hike around the Quilotoa crater. Later, take a horse ride to the Quilotoa Crater Lodge where lunch will be served. Return to Quito in the afternoon.

Day 10, 11 – Galapagos, 2 nights Finch Bay Eco Hotel. HB
Transfer to the airport to fly to Galapagos. On arrival in Baltra airport you will be met by a representative from the Finch Bay for your transfer to the Hotel.  The charming Finch Bay Eco-Hotel is located on a private seaside location surrounded by mangroves, where guests can cherish the privacy, natural surroundings and superb service. There are various activities such as kayaking, birdwatching, mountain biking and swimming, to keep everyone in the family entertained.

Day 12 to 15 – Galapagos, 4 nights Santa Cruz. FB
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport where you’ll be met by the Santa Cruz crew to board your 5-day cruise expedition. The comfort of the M/V Santa Cruz supported by knowledgeable guidance and enjoyable company will give you a most rewarding chance to explore unique environs at the pace of your choice.  The natural wonders of Galapagos within your reach in a most delightful way.

Day 16 – Quito, 1 night Swissotel. BB
On your final morning there’s still time for a visit to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and the San Cristóbal Interpretation Center. Later, you’ll be transferred to the airport to connect with scheduled flight to Quito. On arrival, your driver will meet you for transfer to the hotel.

Day 17 – Departure
Transfer to the airport to connect with homeward flight.
