Day 1 — Santiago, 1 night Grand Hyatt Santiago. BB
You´ll be welcomed to Chile at Santiago International airport and transferred to the Grand Hyatt Santiago for an overnight stay.

Day 2 to 5 — Patagonia, 4 nights Explora Hotel Salto Chico - Cordillera Room. FI
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport to connect with a scheduled flight to Patagonia. On arrival at Punta Arenas airport, a representative from Explora will meet you for a 5hour road transfer to the Explora Hotel Salto Chico. A stop for refreshments will be made en route.
This ecological sanctuary is beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Pehoe with spectacular views of the Paine Massif.
A range of carefully developed explorations can be enjoyed on foot, horseback, by vehicle or on a boat, accompanied by Explora´s expert bilingual guides. For total enjoyment and relaxation there are an indoor heated pool, sauna, massage room and open-air Jacuzzis.

Day 6 – Punta Arenas,  José Nogueira Hotel. HB
Today, you’ll take your transfer back to Punta Arenas where you’ll be met by an Antarctica XXI rep at the José Nogueira Hotel. After a comprehensive briefing you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 7 – Board the M/V Grigoriy Mikheev - Superior Cabin. FB
After breakfast, the Antarctic adventure begins with a flight to King George Island, South Shetland Islands. Arriving after just over three hours, you’ll visit the Chilean and Russian Bases. Later, you’ll be transferred by zodiac to the M/V Grigoriy Mikheev.

Day 8 to 11 – South Shetland Islands & Peninsula, M/V Grigoriy Mikheev - Superior Cabin. FB
As you cruise between the South Shetland Islands and the Peninsula, sailing along ice-filled fjords and between spectacular icebergs, you’ll enjoy the company of sea birds, penguins, seals and whales. The Journey toward the south may include visits to some of the most magnificent spots in the white continent such as: Hannah Point, Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay , Cuverville and Deception Islands amongst others. The adventure includes daily landings and zodiacs rides, selected lectures and an enjoyable time on board.

Day 12 – Punta Arenas, 1 night José Nogueira Hotel. BB
Return to King George Island and zodiac transfer to the aerodrome to take the flight back to Punta Arenas.  On arrival, you’ll be transferred to the José Nogueira Hotel.

Day 13 — Santiago, 1 night Grand Hyatt Santiago. BB
Following your breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Punta Arenas Airport to connect with a scheduled flight to Santiago. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

Day 14 — Departure
A transfer to Santiago airport will connect you with your homeward flight.
