Fazenda do Corumbau

Located in a wide strip of sand that stretches out into the sea, in the extreme south of Bahia, between the cities of Porto Seguro and Prado, Fazenda Corumbau has an area of 167 hectares and combines the comfort of a luxury hotel with the charming, relaxed and friendly atmosphere of an inn at the beach. The project of the architect Roberto Migotto joins together modern infrastructure resources with spacious areas and the exuberance of the local nature.
 
Corumbau offers 4 separate Super Deluxe Bungalows, 6 Deluxe Suites - 2 of them placed on the upper level of the main building and 4 of them placed at two separate bungalows (2 suites in each bungalow) - and a Fisherman’s House which accommodates up to 4 guests. The Super Deluxe Bungalows have 150 m2, CD player, king size bed and a bathroom with a private garden. The Deluxe Suites have 70 m2 and a queen size bed. The furniture was specially designed to fit harmoniously in all the rooms, which are provided with bed linen and towels from Trousseau, air conditioner, ceiling fan, minibar, in-room safe and a spacious porch with a stunning ocean view.
 
The restaurant offers regional dishes with an international touch prepared by the inhouse Chef Teco, who was born and raised in the region. Other amenities include a bar, room service, telephone in each room with direct dialing (national and international), a room with internet access, a room with TV, video and a stereo, a living room, beach service and massage by appointment.
 
There is also a pool treated with salt, a narrow bridge 320 m long to take you to one of the several islands in the mangrove that surrounds the farm, the tracks amid the mangrove, horseback riding along the shore, diving among the coral reefs, boating and schooner tours to visit the coral reefs of Itacolomi and to go up the Corumbau river, visits to the Monte Pascoal Indian Reservation and to the Praia do Espelho, or simply explore the beauties of Barra do Cahy.
